How do I factory reset a TetherBox?

This article explains why you may need to reset a TetherBox and how to do this.

IMPORTANT: When you factory reset your TetherBox , this will delete all your devices and erase all your data, including corresponding data (including recordings) backed up in the cloud. This action cannot be undone.

When would I need to factory reset a TetherBox?

We recommend factory resetting your TetherBox when moving to a new geographical location or switching across to a new Timeline.

For example, you were using a TetherBox on a test site and decided to move it to a client site. Or, a client who has multiple locations asked you to take a TetherBox from an existing location and move it a brand new one.

How do I Factory Reset a TetherBox?

  1. Login to your Timeline and find your TetherBox.

  2. Tap the name of the TetherBox.

ย  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap on "Factory Reset".

4. Tap 'I am sure I want to proceed!'ย 

Note: You will be prompted to enter your email and password to confirm you want to factory reset this TetherBox.
