Create a Form in Tezzera

Updated over a month ago

Forms in Tezzera allow you to collect content, onboarding details, project feedback, and design approvals in a clean, branded, designer-friendly way. You can add questions, use layout templates, embed images, and attach forms directly to tasks or share them externally.

This guide walks you through building a form, customizing it, sharing it with clients, and using it inside your projects.

Overview of Where Forms Live

You can create, edit, and manage all of your forms from the Forms tab in your sidebar. Each form can be used for:

  • Client onboarding questionnaires

  • Content collection

  • Logo and concept feedback

  • Discovery calls

  • Project wrap up surveys

Create a New Form

  1. Go to Forms in the sidebar.

  2. Click New Form in the top right corner.

  3. Give your form a title (you can revise this anytime).

  4. Start adding questions or layout sections.

Your form autosaves as you build it.

Add Questions and Content Blocks

Click Add Block to choose from Tezzera’s question types:

  • Short text

  • Long text

  • File upload

  • Dropdown

  • Multiple choice

  • Star rating

  • Signature

  • Rich text

You can reorder blocks at any time and mark questions as required.

💡 Tip: You can hyperlink any text inside a Rich Text block. This is great for “quick links” such as brand guidelines, Pinterest boards, or Loom videos.

Use Layout Templates for Visual Sections

Tezzera includes optional layout templates for more visual form sections. These are great for:

  • Presenting brand or logo concepts

  • Adding instructions or visual examples

  • Creating section headers with images

You can update:

  • Images

  • Background colors

  • Headings and text

  • Logo display settings

Layout templates automatically match your uploaded brand fonts, and more customization options are coming soon.

Customize Form Design

Open the Design tab to choose between two layout styles:

Presentation View

Displays one question per screen. Ideal for longer or more guided questionnaires.

List View

Shows everything on a single page. Ideal for content collection and feedback forms.

Design notes:

  • Forms automatically use your workspace branding (logo, fonts, colors).

  • Preview your form as you go to ensure spacing and layout feel balanced.

Share Your Form

When your form is ready, open the Share panel:

Copy the public link and send it anywhere (email, DMs, or your client portal quick links).

Embed on Your Website (Coming Soon)

Embedding forms on your website is not available yet, but this is a top priority feature and will be added soon.

Assign to a Project

Use the form internally by attaching it to a specific task (see next section).

Create a Lead Capture Form (For New Inquiries)

If you want to use a form to collect new client inquiries, you can turn it into a Lead Capture Form by pairing it with a workflow. Here’s how:

  1. Create your inquiry form in the Forms area

  2. Go to Workflows

  3. Click New Workflow

  4. Choose Form Submitted as your trigger

  5. Select your inquiry form

  6. Add the action Create New Lead

Now, every time someone submits your form, Tezzera will automatically create a new lead and add it to your Leads group.

💡 Tip: Use Presentation View for inquiry forms. A guided, question-by-question experience typically leads to better-quality submissions.

Attach Forms to Tasks

You can attach any form directly to a task in a project:

  1. Open a task.

  2. Go to Details.

  3. Click Add next to Form.

  4. Select the form you want to attach.

Clients will see a Start Form button right inside the task.

💡 Perfect for:

  • Concept reviews

  • Website content collection

  • Feedback rounds

Manage Form Responses

Open any form and click Responses to see:

  • Individual client submissions

  • A list view of all responses

  • The ability to download PDFs (if enabled)

You can also duplicate a form or turn it into a template for future projects.
