Tezzera makes it easy to create, customize, and share professional contracts that feel aligned with your brand and your workflow. This guide walks through how to set up a contract, apply it to a client project, and share it with your client.
📌 Note: Dynamic contract fields (like automatically pulling in client names, project details, or dates) are currently in progress. For now, contracts are fully editable and require manual inputs.
Step 1: Create or Select a Contract Template
Navigate to Contracts from the main menu.
Choose one of the following:
Create a new contract from scratch, or
Duplicate an existing contract to reuse language and structure.
Add your contract content directly into the editor.
Paste in your own legal language or adjust an existing template.
Formatting is flexible so your contract stays clean and readable.
💡 Pro tip: Many designers create 2–3 core contract templates (for example: Full Service, Consultation, or Add-On Work) and reuse them across projects.
Step 2: Add and Configure Signees
Before sharing the contract, you’ll need to add the people who will be signing it.
Open the contract settings.
Add one or more Signees (for example, your client).
Assign each signature field in the contract to a specific signee.
This is what makes signing easier on the client’s end. When a client opens the contract:
Step 3: Customize the Contract for Your Client
Before sharing the contract, review and update any project-specific details, such as:
Client name
Project scope or services
Pricing or payment terms
Dates or timelines
Because dynamic fields are still in progress, these details need to be entered manually at this stage.
Step 4: Apply the Contract to a Project
Open the relevant project or lead.
Attach the contract to the project.
Review the final version before sending.
Once attached, the contract lives directly within the project, keeping everything organized in one place.
Step 5: Share the Contract with Your Client
Share the contract directly from the project.
Your client will access it through their client portal, where they can:
Review the contract
Sign electronically
Reference it later if needed
Your branding (logo, fonts, and colors) is automatically applied so the experience feels polished and professional.
What’s Coming Next: Dynamic Fields ✨
We’re actively working on dynamic contract fields, which will allow contracts to automatically pull in:
Client name
Project details
Key dates
Selected services or packages
This will remove the need for manual edits and make sending contracts even faster and more seamless.
