Exporting Your Financial Datea

Tezzera allows you to export your financial data as a CSV file so you can review it in a spreadsheet, share it with your accountant, or keep records outside of the platform. You can export either your invoice data or your payment data, filtered by date range and status.

Where to Find the Export Feature

Navigate to your Financial dashboard from the sidebar menu. In the top right corner of the page, click the Export button. A pop-up will appear with your export options.

Step 1: Select Your Export Type

Choose what type of data you want to export:

  • Invoices β€” exports a record of all invoices matching your filters

  • Payments β€” exports a record of all payments received matching your filters

Step 2: Set a Date Range

Add a start date and end date to filter your export to a specific time period. This is useful for pulling data for a particular month, quarter, or financial year.

Step 3: Filter by Status (Invoices only)

If you selected Invoices, you can also filter by invoice status to narrow down your results. Status options include:

  • Draft

  • Sent

  • Scheduled

  • Pending

  • Paid

Leave this blank if you want to export all invoices regardless of status.

Step 4: Download

Click Download. A CSV file will instantly download to your device, named with your workspace name and the date range you selected.

Tips for Using Your Export

πŸ’‘ Pro tip: For tax time, run a Payments export filtered to your financial year to get a clean record of everything you received and the tax applied to each payment.

πŸ’‘ Pro tip: Run an Invoices export filtered to "Sent" or "Scheduled" status to quickly see everything that's outstanding or upcoming.

πŸ“Œ Note: The Recorded Manually column in the Payments export indicates whether a payment was manually marked as paid inside Tezzera β€” useful for identifying payments made outside of Stripe, such as bank transfers or external payment platforms.
