Yes! You can download a PDF of any invoice from its live payment link. That’s the same page your client sees when they open the invoice. It’s handy for your own records, for sending to your accountant, or for clients who need a copy for their bookkeeping.
Step 1: Open the invoice’s live payment link
Go to the project and click the Invoicing tab. Then click the invoice you want to download. Where you land depends on the invoice’s status:
Paid invoices open the live payment link straight away. Skip ahead to Step 2.
Open, Upcoming, or Draft invoices open the invoice editor instead. To get to the live payment link from there:
Click the “∙∙∙” in the top right corner of the invoice editor.
Click Payment Link. This copies the link to your clipboard.
Open a new browser tab, paste the link, and press Enter.
Step 2: Download the PDF
On the live payment link page, click Download as PDF. The PDF downloads straight to your device, with your branding, line items, and payment details just as they appear on the invoice.
