Download the app

Once two-factor authentication (2FA) has been turned on for your bureau, you will be logged out and need to configure your authentication. To begin this process, simply login to Paycircle as normal using your username and password. You will then be prompted to download an authentication app (we suggest using the Microsoft Authenticator app on your Windows Phone, Android, or IOS).

You can also use authentication apps such as Google Authenticator. Once downloaded, click I’ve downloaded the app in Paycircle to continue.

Add an account

Once installed, follow the steps below.

  1. Open the app and select Add account from the Customise and control icon.

  2. Select Other, and scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen.

    1. If this doesn’t work, or your smartphone camera is damaged, then click I can’t scan the QR code to display an authentication code (secret) and label. In the authenticator app, choose ‘Enter code manually’, and input the authentication code and label displayed on the screen.

    2. Click Continue.

Enter the verification code

Now the account is configured, you can enter the 6 digit verification code displayed in the app. For additional security, the verification code changes every 30 seconds to prevent someone from using a code multiple times. Once the code is entered, you will be successfully logged in and able to continue to your Paycircle account.

Access Identity

The rollout of Access Identity will affect two-factor authentication.
