How to create and upload a post on The Coaches Site

You can share coaching ideas and resources with the community by creating an article post using the Content Wizard. Follow the steps below to publish your post.

Step 1: Open the Create Post Page

  1. Click Create a Post in the top-right corner of the screen (beside your profile image).


Step 2: Add a Title and Upload Your File

  1. Enter a clear, descriptive title for your post.

  2. Select your article file or begin creating your content in the editor.


Step 3: Add Tags (Keywords)

  1. Add at least three tags or keywords related to your post.

  2. Tags help other coaches discover your content.

Example: A U13 skating drill article might use tags such as U13, Drills, and Skating.


Step 4: Select a Category and Add a Title Image

  1. Choose at least one category that fits your post.

  2. A title image or thumbnail may upload automatically.

  3. To change it, drag and drop a new image.


Step 5: Adjust Visibility and Publish

From the Status menu, you can:

  • Set your post to Public (visible to all TCS members)

  • Set your post to Private (visible only to you and your network)

  • Save as Draft

  • Preview your post before publishing


Required Fields

Fields highlighted in red - such as title, tags, categories, and title image—are required. You must complete these before publishing.


You’re Ready to Share

Once all required fields are complete, publish your post and share your coaching ideas with the community.


Helpful Tips

  • Use descriptive titles and tags to improve discoverability.

  • Preview your post to confirm formatting before publishing.

  • Public posts reach a wider audience and encourage engagement.
