Workouts are built from the skills you are currently working on, and your exact step will show up in your workout. If, for any reason, you don't want to work on a particular skill, or you think you are further along than the app tells you, you can adjust your training manually.

Here's how to do it:
For each skill - you can choose:

  1. The step in the progression you are at (this step will show up in your workouts)

  2. The number of reps you will be starting at.

  3. Whether you mastered the progression or not - note that mastering a skill means that the system assumes that you mastered all the previous steps and automatically UNLOCKS the further skills.

1. HOW TO MASTER ANY SKILL MANUALLY

  1. Go to the SKILLS Tab inside the app. Pick either main or side skills. Most of the skills will be under MAIN missions.

  2. Pick the skill you want to modify.

Once you click the "Master this Skill" button, it will MASTER THIS SKILL AND UNLOCK ANY SKILLS THIS PROGRESSION UNLOCKS.

2. HOW TO ADJUST THE STEP IN THE PROGRESSION YOU ARE ON

When you are in the progression, you adjust to the step you are currently on.

To do that, click the settings icon in the upper right corner to "make it a current step in the progression." This feature will master previous steps and put you at this step. If you do that to the last step in the progression - it masters the whole passage, and it will show up as mastered in your training plan.

How to balance your workouts between upper body and legs ?

Here are a few ways to do it:

Balance Your Skill Selection:

After you've mastered the fundamentals, you have more control over the skills you work on. If you find your training plan becoming too upper-body-focused, try to balance it out. Incorporate lower body exercises and other skills to create a well-rounded routine. You can read more on skill selection here: http://help.themovementathlete.com/.../2509444-working-on...

Diversify Your Workouts with ON DEMAND & Alternative Section:

This is exactly why we built an on-demand section. Now, it includes a lot of workouts, but we are adding a full-length training plan too. For example, soon you will see there 4 weeks of explosive leg workouts or weighted calisthenics or just ab-focused training plans. So tin this case the idea would be to keep working on your progressive skills but then balance it out with on on-demand or Alternative workout section.

Customize Your Settings:

In your account settings, you can control which workout sections appear in your routine. If the volume is too high, you can easily disable sections like Muscle Building, Endurance, or Skill. This way, your workouts will have lower volume and be more balanced.
