There will come a time when you or one of your employees will need to change their password, whether because it was forgotten or for security reasons, the change will eventually come. This article serves as a comprehensive guide for users who need to reset their password within the CRM, we will walk you through each step, ensuring you can securely and efficiently update your password.

📌Note: The process varies slightly depending on your user permissions.

Resetting Your Password through "My Profile"

Head over to your Settings, and access the My Profile section, this option will be on the right side under the General section.

  1. Enter your current password.

  2. Input your desired new password.

  3. Re-enter the new password for confirmation.

  4. Click the "Update Password" button to save your changes.

Ensure your new password is secure. It must be more than 8 characters, including a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters.

Resetting Your Password through "My Staff"

For users with access to manage staff accounts, go to your settings and head to the “My Staff” section. Then, click the pencil icon next to the user whose password you wish to reset.

Under the User Info option click the "Forgot Password" option, this will send an email to the user to set a new password.

To directly change the password open Advanced Settings and type in a new password. Once you do click on save to set it.

Troubleshooting Tips

Not Receiving Emails?

If you don't receive the password reset email, check your spam or junk folder. Ensure that the CRM's email address is marked as safe.

Error Messages

If you encounter any error messages during the process, double-check that you're entering the correct current password and that your new password meets the required criteria.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a previous password?

For security reasons, it's best to create a new password that you haven't used before with the CRM. However, the CRM will not reject previous passwords from being used.

What if I don't have access to my email anymore?

Contact the administrative team for assistance in resetting your password, you can achieve this by using the method shown under the Resetting Your Password through "My Staff" section of this article, additionally the email can be changed under the User Info section as well.
