Learning Objectives is a feature designed to allow staff users to record set targets for players along with any reviews and/or grades left.
You can use Learning Objectives for any Coaching Session, Gym Session and Fixture. You can also create a Generic Learning Objective that you might want to set a player.
Coaching, Gym and Fixture Learning Objectives
To leave a Learning Objective, find the Session or Fixture in question and from the cog menu (usually found on the far right) and click the Learning Objective link.
This will direct you to a new page that has an area for Team Objectives at the top and a list of the players who are assigned to that said session/fixture underneath. (If you can't see any players, they need assigning back in the session builder or the team selection).
There are also areas to leave a Learning Outcome and a Grade for both Team and Player objectives.
Copying Objectives
For time saving, we have a copy feature which can be found at the very bottom of the page. You can choose to copy from the Previous Coaching, Gym, Fixture or Generic Learning Objectives that were left for a player or team.
The common use case being a Learning Objective are usually unchanged for a set period of time. This allows you to set a Learning Objective once and then reuse that as many times as you like with the copy feature.
Learning Objective Reporting
By clicking the Learning Objective links from the nav bar you can begin to search for the Learning Objectives, Outcomes and Grades that a player(s) or team has had in any period of time. These can be exported if hard copies are needed.
We also offer a Grade Report (found in the related links section of the Learning Objectives page).
This report offers a way to review a players Grading from any of the areas you can leave a Grade. You get to see the Highest, Lowest and Average Grade over any period of time.
Finally, underneath the Grade Report table, you will see a pitch visual of the players in their regular position(s) for certain formations. You can then rank players based on the best Learning Objective grades for a set position over any period of time.
To assign players to their primary position(s) within a specific formation, you must go to System > Performance > Custom formations.
