The platform comes with a default suite of personal detail fields for Athletes and Staff. If you wish to add to these fields, please see a guide for that HERE.
Introduction
You can give the option for players to update their personal details via the desktop or player app versions of Sports Office.
PLEASE NOTE: Select fields like Name and DOB will never be editable regardless of the following settings.
Configuration
You will need the 'Manage Player Access' user role to edit the 'Player visible fields' and the 'Club Administrator' user role to allow players to edit Personal details.
Firstly, you must go in to System > Custom Player Detail Fields > Click 'Player Visible Fields' near the top of the page:
You can now select which fields you wish for the players to have access to. You need to do this for each squad / team at your organisation BUT there is a 'copy' feature to help speed this up if you wish to set the same fields for multiple squads:
Don't forget to hit the 'Save' button for each squad.
Finally, On a per Squad basis - in System > System Options > there is the option to allow players to edit their personal details:
Toggle that to ON and save at the bottom. As I said, this is per team so if you do not want an age group to edit details, you can turn it off for them.
Players can update player details via desktop OR the player App. On desktop, it is on their home page next to their Player details on the top left:
Via the app it is in the 'More Area' then see option at the top of the page:
You can remove this functionality at any time using the System Option.
