For you to receive a reward for referring a friend to the TBC app, your friend must download and sign up for The Bitcoin Company using your referral code.
You can find your referral code here, or by manually navigating to the "Account" tab of the app (see the images below).
Then select the "Refer Friends to Earn More" option.
Then copy your referral code to send to your friend/referral.
After your referral signs up, they must complete these two steps:
Activate their TBC account.
Spend at least $21 within the TBC app.
Additionally, for your referral to receive a bonus for signing up, remind them to complete the onboarding process (in which they choose their favorite brands within the TBC app). That will credit their account with bonus sats as well.
After that, you'll earn at least 1% of the rewards your referral earns when they make a purchase.
Additionally, the more people who you refer (as long as they follow those two steps mentioned above), the more rewards you'll earn for your own in-app purchases! Your rewards rate will increase for every friend you refer (up to 21 referrals).
