Major phone providers such as Verizon, T-mobile, AT&T etc. may mark a VOIP number as potential spam. This can cause the person receiving your call see "Spam" on their caller ID.
To prevent this, we recommend registering your new CRM number on Free Call Registry, which will inform the phone providers that your phone number is not spam.
Please note: It can take up to a week for phone providers to update this on their system.
Filling out the form
When filling out the form, ensure that you enter your direct connect (CRM) number and your name here:
Where it asks for your companies information, be sure to enter your store's phone number, address & website. See example:
As an additional and newer resource you can add your company name into the Caller ID Beta field in your employee settings:
This will automatically be submitted to TheCRM's phone provider and in turn Telcos. The process takes 7-14 business days and then customers will see the business name as the caller ID when making calls.
