Using Affirm as a Payment Method

If you’re looking to take commit to the annual plan and save money, but would prefer to pay monthly, we do have options to make this work!

Step 1: Get an Affirm Virtual Card

1. Create an account with Affirm OR sign in if you have an Affirm account already.

2. Once logged in to Affirm, (https://www.affirm.com/u/shop), you can apply for a Virtual Card by starting to type in the “Store” search. When you type in for Thinkster Math, you’ll see the drop-down for a virtual card with Thinkster Math as the label.

3. After selecting create a virtual card, it asks you the amount of the purchase. (This is the amount of the subscription fee.)

4. You will be asked for ID for additional credit checks.

5. Once approved, you will be given a Visa card number. Please use this number as the Credit Card number on our payment forms.

Step 2: Update the Payment Method on File with Thinkster:

1. Log in to the Parent Insights App.

2. Visit the "Manage Account" section in the left navigation

3. Scroll down and click "Edit Payment". A pop-up will appear, which shows the current info on file. Click the "Edit Payment Method" text in blue.

4. Add in the Virtual Credit Card details you received from Affirm & click the blue "Update" button.
