Overview
Thrive Events lets Thrive TRM users connect their Zoom account so they can use as the video conference provider for events scheduled in Thrive. When creating or editing an event, users can select Zoom as the meeting provider, and when the event is created/saved, Thrive automatically generates a Zoom meeting link and attaches it to the event for all attendees.
Requirements:
An active Thrive TRM account
A Zoom account
Adding (Connecting) Zoom to Thrive
Log in to Thrive.
Go to My Account → Integrations.
Find Zoom in the list of available integrations and select Connect Zoom Account.
You'll be redirected to Zoom to sign in (if not already) and authorize Thrive to connect to your Zoom account.
Review the permissions Zoom requests and click Allow.
You'll be redirected back to Thrive, where your Zoom account will now show as Connected under Integrations.
Only the data needed to create and manage meeting links is exchanged between Thrive and Zoom.
Using Zoom for an Event
In Thrive, create a new event or open an existing one for editing.
In the event's video conference / meeting provider field, select Zoom.
Save the event. The Zoom link is now tied to the event record, so attendees always see the correct, up-to-date meeting details.
Thrive automatically generates a unique Zoom meeting link and attaches it to the event record, no need to leave Thrive or open Zoom separately.
Removing (Disconnecting) Zoom from Thrive
Log in to Thrive TRM.
Go to My Account → Integrations.
Find Zoom and select the menu item that appears next to your email (three vertical dots), select Disconnect.
Once disconnected:
Thrive can no longer generate new Zoom meeting links for events.
Existing events that already have a Zoom link retain that link.
To fully revoke Thrive's access from the Zoom side as well, users can also remove the Thrive app under their Zoom Account → Profile → Zoom App Marketplace → Manage → Installed Apps.
