I can't pair my stick-on Ticker box and app

If you have the stick-on Ticker box, each driver on your policy needs to download the Ticker app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store.

Open the Ticker app on each phone and tap Get login link. This will send an email to each driver's individual email address, which you gave us when you bought your insurance. Open that email (check spam if you can't find it) and click 'Log in'. Once you're logged in, you can start pairing.

If there are two or more drivers named on the policy, make sure only one phone has Bluetooth turned on at once, then you can take it in turns to pair.

Tips for pairing with your Ticker box:

  • You need make sure you have a compatible iOS or Android smart phone to use with your Ticker device. If you can't find the Ticker app in your app store your device may need a software update or may not be compatible.

  • Make sure the Ticker app is up-to-date on all phones. We regularly update the Ticker app with improvements and bug fixes, so it's important you have the latest version.

  • If the app login link in your email doesn't work, try accessing email through your phones web browser rather than your email app.

  • If you think the email addresses you gave us may be wrong, or you know they're right and you haven't received the login email, please start a chat in the Ticker app.

  • You pair in the Ticker app - not in your phone's Bluetooth settings. During pairing, you may not see the Ticker box in your phone's Bluetooth devices list; it's nothing to worry about.
