While the avatar shop is a great incentive for pupils to play and earn coins there are times when you may wish to temporarily close or 'block' the avatar store from being accessed.
How do I close the avatar shop?
To close the avatar shop please go to Online games > Digital Wellbeing > Shop Settings
There are two options for closing the shop:
Option 1 - Close the shop right away.
Simply click "Close" next to your class name and the shop will close for 2 hours.
If you decide you want to open it again before the 2 hours, simply click "Cancel."
Option 2 - Set it up to close on a recurring basis.
Use the toggles to close the shop permanently during school hours, outside school hours, or both.
What counts as outside school hours?
Morning before school starts
Evenings, after school ends
Weekends
School holidays
You can edit your school start time, end time and term dates in Admin > School Settings).
What do students see when the shop is closed?
They see a simple message on screen:
