What is a curfew?
The curfew controls when students can log in to NumBots. Outside the set From and To times, students cannot log in at all.
It will run 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year.
It's a great tool to encourage healthy digital habits by guiding students to only use NumBots during school hours or in the early evening.
Important: Curfews affect the whole school, not just a particular class. So ensure you alert other teachers and ideally parents as well, that a curfew has been set.
How to set a curfew:
To set up a curfew for your school head to Online games > Digital wellbeing > Activity Limits.
Toggle the setting on (as shown below) and set the correct start and end time for the period when students can access TTRS.

If a student tries to log in when the curfew is active, they will see a message on the login screen explaining that a curfew is set, and when NumBots will next be available.

Any teacher with TTRS access at your school can change these settings. All changes are recorded in the relevant settings history. To view the history, select the relevant tab (for example, Privacy & leaderboards) and click View History at the top of the page. You'll see a detailed record of changes made to those settings.

We don't currently offer this feature as curfews can only be set for the whole school.
