First user in brand new school

(i.e. You’re the first ever user at a school which has not used NumBots or TTRS before.)

You've probably signed up via our website and then received a link via email to set your password. Once you’ve done that you’ll be taken to the NumBots Dashboard, which will look quite empty for now:

Actions:

  1. Log in at manage.numbots.com using your email address and password.

  2. Click Play, in the header bar, to try out the NumBots programme for yourself! (As a teacher you'll find all the levels unlocked from the start, whereas children will work through them from the beginning, unlocking one level at a time.)

  3. Go to Account > Classes to add classes of pupils. Learn how to upload pupils.

  4. Go to Stats to check out how your pupils are getting on. There won't be any data to view in the reports until your pupils have started playing NumBots. Data updates overnight.

Launching NumBots in a school with TTRS

(i.e. Your school already uses Times Tables Rock Stars, but they have just started using NumBots.)

If you have a log in for Times Tables Rock Stars then you will log in and manage NumBots using the same email address and password.

If you don't have a log in for Times Tables Rock Stars, ask a colleague who does to add you to the school's account. You'll receive a link via email to set your password. Once you’ve done that you’ll be taken to the NumBots Dashboard.

Actions:

  1. Log in at manage.numbots.com using your email address and password. (Alternatively logging into play.ttrockstars.com will take you to the same dashboard, where you can manage your school's TTRS and NumBots accounts.)

  2. Click Play, in the header bar, to try out the NumBots programme for yourself! (As a teacher you'll find all the levels unlocked from the start, whereas children will work through them from the beginning, unlocking one level at a time.)

  3. Go to Account > Classes to add classes of pupils. If your pupils already have TTRS accounts they can log in using the same details. Learn how to upload pupils.

  4. Go to Stats to check out how your pupils are getting on. There won't be any data to view in the reports until your pupils have started playing NumBots. Data updates overnight.

New teacher at existing NumBots school

(i.e. Your school already uses NumBots, however it's new to you - perhaps you've recently joined the school or changed year group.)

All teachers log in to NumBots using their individual email address and password. If you do not yet have access to NumBots, ask a colleague who does have a NumBots log in to add you to the school's account. You'll receive a link via email to set your password. Once you’ve done that you’ll be taken to the NumBots Dashboard.

Actions:

  1. Log in at manage.numbots.com using your email address and password.

  2. Click Play, in the header bar, to try out the NumBots programme for yourself! (As a teacher you'll find all the levels unlocked from the start, whereas children will work through them from the beginning, unlocking one level at a time.)

  3. Hopefully your pupils' accounts have already been set up by one of your colleagues. If not, go to Account > Classes to upload your class. If your pupils already have TTRS accounts they can log in using the same details. Learn how to upload pupils.

  4. Go to Stats to check out how your pupils are getting on. There won't be any data to view in the reports until your pupils have started playing NumBots. Data updates overnight.
