Leavers
The first step is to decide what you want to do with school leavers. You have two options:
Option 1: Delete them
You will probably want to delete leavers' accounts. To do so please:
Go to Account > Classes.
Select the checkbox next to the names of the pupils or classes you would like to delete.
Press the 'Delete' tab and then the 'Delete Students' button or 'Delete Class and Students' button if you also wish to delete the class.
Option 2: Keep them and move them to a "leavers" class
You may choose to keep hold of leavers' accounts for a short period (moved to a leavers class) so that if the pupil's new school uses TTRS their account can be teleported over. To move pupils to a leavers class please:
Go to Account > Classes.
Create a new class by clicking the 'Add Class' button and naming it 'Leavers'.
Select the checkbox next to the names of the pupils or classes you would like to move to this group.
Press the 'Move to Maths Class' button and select the newly made 'Leavers' class.
Note that GDPR requires that personal data is not kept for longer than necessary, so do not hold on to these leavers accounts unless you have good reason for doing so.
