Go to Stats > Select your class > Fluency tab
Class average per table
This gives you a quick overview of how the class is doing on each table. The speed represents how quickly on average the class answer a question on that table.
Time Slider
At the top of the page, you will find a slider to quickly compare how much pupils have progressed over time.
Important: The time slider feature is only available with the Stats bolt-on. To add this bolt-on to your subscription please login and navigate to Account > Subscriptions.
Class average per fact (Heatmap)
This is collating data from every time a student answers a question in any of the game modes except for Jamming. Jamming is excluded because it’s the only game without a timer and the heatmap is based on speed of answering.
You can see the key under the heatmap. The faster the average speed, the greener the fact will be.
Hovering over a fact will show the average speed for the class. Clicking on a fact will bring up the average response time for each pupil. This data won’t be shown unless the pupil has answered that question 10 times or more, so don’t worry if some students are missing. They’ll be added as they play more games.
Tip: Click on the facts in the table that are coloured orange and red to see which students are finding them more challenging. This can help you direct your attention in class.
Table Focus
You can also choose to focus the stats in the heatmap on a specific table of your choice by simply clicking that table. as shown below:
Graph - Average Recall Time vs Yeargroup Standard
This graph gives you a quick visual to compare how your class is performing compared to the end-of-year expectation for their yeargroup. The blue line is the speed we hope they reach by the of the school year.

Additional fluency stats
As well as the heatmap, each student has four other tables that you can review.
The first one is called the “tables passed” table and is especially useful. It looks like this:
Use the slider along the top of the table to choose the speed at which you’d like each student to be able to answer their tables. For example, if your class are in Year 4, you may choose 5.
Each blue tick indicates that the student has answered every question in that table at a speed of 5 seconds or faster in their last 10 attempts. If the blue tick is missing, the student has either not achieved that target, or hasn’t played enough games.
You can hover over a table to see which specific facts they may need to improve.
You'll notice at the top of the "Student Average per Table" that there are some buttons. These buttons allow you to drill down even further
Using the three icons on the top left, you can set the table to display:
Speed on selected date
This shows the average recall speed for each table for each student. It’s great to be able to order it by a particular table so that you can see where you need to draw your attention.
Speed change since start (only available with the Stats bolt-on)
Shows how much each student's average speed on each table has changed since the start.
Speed compared to yeargroup standard (only available with the Stats bolt-on)
Compares each student's average recall speed on each table to the year group standard. Anything in green is where they are quicker than the year group standard and anything in red is where they're slower than the standard.
Gone Green Certificates
Gone Green Certificates
Reward your pupils for turning their heatmap green!
A totally green heatmap means that a student has consistently answered all facts in 4 seconds or less. They must answer each fact at least 10 times in any game mode (apart from Jamming) at 4 seconds or less before it will turn green on their heatmap.
To automatically generate Gone Green certificates for your class, click the button at the top of the Fluency page:
