Tinkery is a cloud-based platform designed to run in modern web browsers. No installations, plug-ins, or technical setup required.
To make sure everything runs smoothly (especially the AI-powered Workbench, custom graph rendering, and data syncing), here’s what we recommend:
Browser Requirements
Tinkery supports the two latest versions of the following desktop browsers:
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Safari
Microsoft Edge
🔄 Make sure your browser is set to update automatically. This helps ensure performance, compatibility, and security.
Hardware Recommendations
While Tinkery is lightweight by design, using AI models and large datasets may require a decent machine for best performance:
Processor: Dual-core or higher (Intel i5 or equivalent recommended)
Memory: Minimum 8 GB RAM (16 GB recommended for power users)
Storage: No installation needed, but ensure enough space for local file downloads (e.g., CSV or graph exports)
Network & Connectivity
- Internet Speed: At least 10 Mbps for stable performance
- Browser Cookies & Local Storage: Must be enabled (used for session management and saving user preferences)
- Firewall Access: Allow access to `*.tinkery.ai` and common API endpoints (e.g., HubSpot, Google Drive) if you’re on a corporate network
Security Compatibility
Tinkery runs on Google Cloud Platform and uses modern security protocols:
TLS 1.2+ encryption for all communication
OAuth 2.0 for third-party integrations
Compatible with SSO and upcoming Multi-Factor Authentication (Q3 2025)
> Tinkery does not support use on Internet Explorer or deprecated browsers.
