A sub-admin, also known as a sub-administrator or sub-manager, is a person who has been given administrative powers over a specific part of LXP Control. This means they can manage and make changes to that area but have a different level of access than a full admin.
Use cases for this feature:
Allow specific users only to see users of certain groups
Allow specific users to view only part of the Control space (Audience and Structure, more areas will be added in future)
Allow specific users to have access to the in-app reporting.
In this article, you can find information on:
In LXP Control, under Structure > Admins, you can create new admin groups and set specific permissions and which groups these users will view.
Create an admin group
Go to LXP Control, Structure > Admins and click on the 'create admin group' button.
In the right editor, add an admin group name; you can directly add the translations of that name.
Then set the permissions and target groups.
Permissions:
Access control of this platform: This permission must be selected with other permissions so that the sub-admin can access more tabs in Control.
Import users: Allow sub-admin to import users via the Audience tab. This permission should be combined with View members permission.
Manage invites: Allow sub-admins to invite new users via the Audience tab.
Manage members: Admin can only view the users in the assigned group in the Structure tab.
Reporting: Allow managers to have in-app reporting access. This permission should be combined with View members and Manage members permissions.
View members: Allow sub-admin to view the users in the assigned group via Audience.

Target groups:
Set the target groups that the users part of the admin group will see; they will not see the other groups not selected.

Add users to your admin group:
On the top right, click on the button to add users to your admin group.
