To send copies of tickets for unadjusted tips on checks, you can submit a credit request to Toast's billing team. You will need to provide a picture or signed copy of the receipt. This can be done by uploading the receipt copy directly to your case on Toast Central. Here are the steps to follow:
Navigate to Toast Central.
Select My Customer Care Cases.
Locate your case and select Case Detail.
Navigate to the Feed page to view previous comments and reply back.
Near the bottom, you will find Google Docs & Attachments.
Select Upload Files and choose the receipt images to be uploaded. Once you have uploaded the receipt images, send a comment to notify the support team that the documents are available for review. Please note that once the payment has been batched, the tip cannot be adjusted in the system due to bank policies. However, the credit request process allows for the tip amount to be sent directly to the bank account of the location, and then it can be paid out to the server.
