Toast Tables: Configure Estimated Quote Times

A client's estimated table wait times for their guests is inaccurate.

Answer

To reconfigure wait time settings, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Toast Web homepage.

  2. Select Waitlist & Reservations on the left-hand column

  3. Select Settings at the top.

  4. Scroll down on the left-hand column and select Wait Time Estimator under the waitlist section.

  5. If you have this set to Manual Multiplier, you can adjust the buffer time as needed manually here to add buffer time to your calculated estimates that are based on your average turn time and number of bookable tables.
