Answer
The This Restaurant is Currently Offline error message typically indicates trouble with your autofire device. To verify your autofire device is working:
Navigate to Toast Web.
Navigate to Takeout & Delivery > Availability > Online Ordering.
Navigate to the Approval section and ensure that Send orders directly to kitchen is selected as the approval method.
Review the selected Auto-fire Device and make sure it is correct.
If needed, select Change device to select the appropriate autofire device.
If you suspect the autofire device is not functioning correctly, try these steps:
Verify you have one POS terminal assigned as the autofire device.
Confirm the autofire device is powered on and that its cables are securely connected to a working outlet.
Confirm the Ethernet cables and connection are secure.
Verify the device is logged into Toast.
Check for network connectivity errors in the Orders Hub on the autofire device.
Once you have verified your autofire device is functioning properly, manually send orders to the kitchen after an outage:
Navigate to the Orders Hub on your POS. This is where orders placed during the outage will appear.
Approve these orders manually.

Note: These orders will be marked in a way that prevents them from being automatically sent to the kitchen until approved, which helps prevent a sudden flood of potentially outdated orders. Once approved, these orders can be processed or voided based on your specific needs, considering factors like the order's timing and the customer's preference.
Approving these orders signals that the autofire device is back online and functioning. Unapproved orders will not be sent to the kitchen. If the issue persists, please contact Customer Care.
