Mobile Order Overview

Need to create an order sheet or place an order directly with a vendor representative while on the go? The xtraCHEF app can help you do just that!


Order on mobile enables you to create a shopping list of items directly from your catalog of previously purchased invoice items, from uploaded bid sheets, or via a curated order guide. Read on to learn how!

Using Mobile Orders

  1. To view previous orders or create new ones on the go, open your xtraCHEF app. Select More from your navigation menu, then select your Order tab.

  2. You will then be prompted to confirm your location and whether you are looking to create a New Order or view Order History.

Creating Mobile Orders

  1. Select New Order to create one. You'll once again see two options: build an order from scratch using data from Vendors, or use an existing Order Guide.To use order guides in the app, you must first create them via your desktop account.

  2. Begin building an order with vendors by selecting your desired supplier(s). Then choose available invoice items.

  3. To do this, adjust the quantity of your invoice itemby selecting the Quantity drop down and scrolling for your order amount. Then select Add.

  4. When you're ready to check out, select the shopping cart icon in the top right corner of your app page. Fill in information like your expected Delivery Date and any Notes for your vendor. This can be done by selecting the Delivery Date drop-down or Notes space. You can also review information such as ship to address, invoice to address, or sales rep contact information.

  5. You'll also see your estimated order total based on the prices in your most recent invoice. When ready, select Place Order when you're ready to save your order as a PDF or send it directly via email.
