Toast Online Order Pro Third Party Loyalty Overview
Your Toast Online Ordering guests can accrue and redeem loyalty on Toast Online Ordering, exactly like they do at Toast POS. All third-party accrual and reward types supported at Toast POS are also supported on Toast Online Ordering.
Like Toast POS, guests cannot sign up for your third-party loyalty program within the Toast Online Ordering page. Toast recommends adding your rewards program sign-up link to the header of your Online Ordering page, like in the example below.
Your guests will only have the option to participate in loyalty at checkout if they are logged into their Toast account.
Requirements:
The third-party loyalty feature on Toast Online Ordering requires a subscription to Online Ordering Pro or Websites and the Toast Online Ordering subscription. Need more information on how to subscribe? See Get Started with Online Ordering Pro or Get Started with Toast Websites in Toast Support.
To enable third-party loyalty on your Toast Online Ordering page, your third-party loyalty program must already be integrated with Toast POS.
Only users who have third-party loyalty integrated with Toast POS can sign up for this beta feature.
Enable Third Party Loyalty on Toast Online Ordering Pro
After confirming that your restaurant meets the requirements of this feature, follow the steps below to enable it.
Log in to Toast Web and navigate to Takeout & delivery > Loyalty integration.
Select the Sign up! button, which will open a Google form to complete.
Note: Requests will be processed within two business days, and the email address entered on the form will be notified when the request has been processed.
If you do not see the Loyalty integration section in Takeout & delivery:
Confirm that you are subscribed to Toast Online Online Ordering Pro or Get Started with Toast Websites.
Confirm that your loyalty provider is integrated with your Toast POS. For more information, see Get Started With Gift Card and Loyalty Partner Integrations in Toast Support.
Once confirmed, follow above to join the beta.
Guest Experience
On Toast Online Ordering, guests can look up their rewards account in checkout if logged into their Toast account.
Once Lookup My Rewards is selected, the email address and phone number on their Toast account will be shared with your third-party loyalty provider to determine if an account within your restaurant’s loyalty program matches the guest’s email address or phone number.
Note: If two accounts come back (i.e., one matching the phone number and another matching the email address), Toast will select the one matching the email address.
If your third-party loyalty provider sends Toast at least one matching account, your guests will see one of the following, depending on their loyalty and rewards status:
No rewards, no points:
Points, but no rewards:
Points and rewards:

Marketing
To ensure your guests are aware of and participate in your third-party loyalty programs, here are some tips:
Add a custom sign-up link to your online ordering page header. When guests select this link, the sign-up form will open in a new browser window.
Add a spotlight banner or popup to inform your online ordering guests that they can now participate in your rewards program by ordering online.
