Information Available via Details Pane

Details Pane With Table Selected

The details panel will display the table’s check details. You can enable or disable the details pane with the button shown in the top right. It will appear on the left side of the Table Service screen and show different information on whether a table is selected or not.

Details pane enabled and enable disable details pain button circled in top right next to

Within the details pane:

  • You can now start the change server workflow, change guest count workflow, or change table workflow from the top of the check details.

  • You can select a table on the details pane to open that table's check(s).

  • If there's more than one check, you can swipe between them.

  • You can select Printto print the current check, Update to open the orders screen, or Pay to open the payment screen.

  • Your selected table will have an outline around it in the service area. If you select a table in the dining layout while the details pane is open, you will open the check details for that table.

Details Pane Without a Table Selected

The details pane will display high-level information about each active table if no tables are selected on the layout. This will only show you details of the tables you are assigned to.

Note: Only users with the appropriate permissions will see other servers’ tables, otherwise, they will just see their active tables.

Details pane enabled while a table is not selected showing the high level check details belonging to that server

The details pane shows all table data in a list view for easy comparison and a comprehensive overview of the dining room, with the dining layout in view for even greater context. It also shows the user details for all their open tables. This visibility is permissions-dependent.

Each table has the table number inside a shape that matches the table shape with the color of the current dining status, and has the server assignment, order preview, table timer, and order total. If you select a table in the details pane or a table on the floor plan while the details pane is open, you will open the check details for the table.
