How do I check which device is set to auto-fire at my restaurant?


Answer

A single auto-fire device is recommended for restaurants using online ordering.

To check your restaurant’s autofire device, follow these steps:

  1. In Toast Web, navigate to Takeout & Delivery.

  2. From the Toast Online Ordering section, select Online ordering setup.

  3. Scroll down to Approval > Auto-fire Device.

  4. You will find the name of your currently configured auto-fire device next to Current Selection.

    • If you do not recognize the displayed device name, you can check the name of the device through the following steps:

      1. Log in on a Toast device and enter your PIN when prompted.

      2. Select the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your device screen.

      3. Then, select Device Status.

      4. From here, you can search for your device name.

  5. You can also select a different device to be your auto-fire device from this page by clicking on the Change Device button.
