4.8 Marketing Info
What you'll accomplish: Create and publish a Toast Loyalty promotion that runs automatically for your guests.
Log in to Toast Web.
Navigate to Toast Web > Marketing > Loyalty > Loyalty rewards.
In the Promotions section, select Add promotion.
Select the promotion type: Sign up, Birthday, Day & time, or Dining.
Under Condition, set when the promotion applies. See Promotion Types below.
Under Guests receive, choose what guests get.
Select Save.
Select Publish loyalty changes.
Expected outcome: The promotion appears in the Promotions table with its type, condition, what guests receive, dates, and status. Once published, it runs on its own.
Note: You can have up to five promotions. Publishing sends your changes to every location in your group, so you need permission to publish for all of those locations.
Sign up
A Sign up promotion rewards guests when they join your Toast Loyalty program.
Birthday
A Birthday promotion can be a free item, a dollar amount off, or a percentage off. To learn how guests redeem it, see Manage Birthday Rewards.
Day & time
A Day & time promotion applies on the days of the week and the time range you choose.
Dining
A Dining promotion applies to the dining options you choose, such as online ordering, takeout, or delivery.
