How to set up the time clock settings on my Toast POS device?

In Toast Web, navigate to Front of house > Order screen setup > UI options.
Select Time clock on the left and adjust these settings as desired:
Print clock slips: Toggle this setting On to automatically print a small time slip every time an employee clocks in or out. This setting is disabled by default.
Enforce scheduling: Toggle this setting On to require manager approval for non-scheduled employees to clock in or out. This setting is designed to work with a third-party integrated scheduling software, such as HotSchedules or 7Shifts. Set this to Off unless you have integrated scheduling software.
Show time?: Choose whether or not the time will be visible on the Time Clock screen.
Time entry rounding scheme: This setting will help reconcile hours between Toast and any payroll/labor software you use. There are two ways to round an employee's time.
Option 1: Add all time entries together at their current value (typically includes two decimal places) and round the final total to the nearest tenth.
Option 2: Round each individual time entry to the nearest tenth and then add them together for the total hours.
Save and publish any changes you make.
