Toast Central Overview

Toast Central provides Toast customers with training, access to online support, and an extensive database of troubleshooting and how-to articles.

If you want to access the knowledge base and view hundreds of troubleshooting and how-to articles, you can simply use the search bar without logging in. To access online support with our Customer Care team however, you'll need to log in.

You'll need a password to log into Toast Central. If you have an email and password to log into Toast Web (not just a passcode), you can use that to log in. If not, continue below to get a password.

  1. Select this link.

  2. Enter the email address associated with your Toast employee profile. Check with your manager if you're unsure.

  3. Check your email for a reset password email, and follow the link to enter a new password.

  4. Return to Toast Central to get started!

My employees don't have a Toast password, how do they log in to access training and support?

Your employees can create a password by following the steps above using the email they have entered in Toast. Then, visit the Toast Classroom training hub or this article on Training your Team on Toast for on-demand video guides.

What browsers can I use for Toast Central?

We recommend Google Chrome on a PC (personal computer) or Mac as your primary access point. Some functions in Toast may not be available when using an alternate browser or a tablet/mobile device.

What can I access on Toast Central without a login?

Without logging into Toast Central, you can access our knowledge base of troubleshooting and how-to articles to get you started. Only some content requires a login to view.

What can I access after logging in to Toast Central?

After logging into Toast Central, you'll be able to see our entire knowledge base of troubleshooting and how-to articles.

I'm a Reseller customer. What will I have access to on Toast Central?

You have access to our knowledge base with hundreds of troubleshooting and how-to articles to help you get started. If you need further assistance, please contact your reseller directly at their support number or email.

Can I update my email notification preferences for Toast Central?

Yes! To update your email notification preferences, follow the steps below.

    1. After logging into Toast Central, select your name in the top right corner and choose Settings.

    2. Update the settings in the Email Notifications section as desired.

    3. Save your changes.

Do I need to select the Follow button on my cases to get notified or updates in Toast Central?

Nope! No need to select the follow button on your cases. You'll automatically be following all your cases.
