How do I close a paid online ordering check?
Answer
On your POS, navigate to the main menu of the Toast app and select Payment Terminal from the Mode section
Once in the Payment Terminal, select the three-dot overflow menu in the top right corner of the screen, then select Select checks.
Select the check you'd like to close. If the Close button is available, select it to close the check. Otherwise, use this article to troubleshoot: Get Help With Checks That Will Not Close on POS.
In order for more than one check to be closed at a time, the user logged in will need bulk check management permissions. Learn more here: Manage Checks in Bulk on the POS.
