Get Started With Paytronix Reward Program

Once the subscription is confirmed and activated, you must contact Paytronix directly via email or phone: support@paytronix.com or 617-649-3300. Once you’ve started a support ticket with Paytronix, you will need to send an email to integrations-support@toasttab.com requesting the integration be activated. The email must include the following:
Location(s) name and full address.
A person of contact for the location(s).
Specify if the integration needs to be enabled at a specific time or day.
State that the request is for Loyalty Integration.
Look Up Customer on Paytronix
To add a new customer to your Paytronix loyalty program or to apply points to an existing account, begin by looking up the customer.
On the device, select Rewards and then Lookup customer. Depending on your menu configurations, you may need to swipe through menus (top level) to see this button on the POS.
You'll then be prompted to swipe the customer's rewards card or search by customer name/phone number/email.
Note: A customer's last name must be used when searching by customer name.
Once the correct customer has been selected from the database, the loyalty account will appear under the check number on the order screen. Selecting it will show a detailed view of the customer's account (accrued dollars/points).
Activate Card/Create New Rewards Account (Paytronix)
To activate a new Paytronix loyalty card, use the Lookup Customer button, then swipe a new rewards card to activate it. After the card is activated, the customer must still register online through your restaurant's website. Cards that are not registered will still accrue points, but the points will not be eligible to be redeemed for a real dollar value until it is registered.
Redeem Item Workflow (Paytronix)
If a guest wishes to redeem a specific item that they've earned, the item will appear in their rewards account. However, the item must be rung in on the check in order for it to be redeemed. This means that if the customer has 1 free small cheese pizza in their rewards account, the small cheese pizza must be ordered for REDEEM option to be available.
To redeem a specific item, ring in the item on the check.
If the customer is eligible to receive the reward, select Redeem, and the item will appear as a negative amount on the check.
This process must be completed for each individual item that is being redeemed. Toast will not automatically redeem individual items on a check.
If the item has not been ordered on the check, it cannot be redeemed.

Redeem Dollars Workflow (Paytronix)
If a customer has more rewards dollars than the amount of the check, the entire total of the check will be redeemed in rewards dollars.
If a customer's check total is more than the amount of rewards dollars in their account, their entire bank of rewards dollars will be redeemed on the check. The customer is responsible for the remaining amount on the check.
Customers will not accrue points when redeeming points. However, if the customer redeems $25 in points on a $30 check, they will redeem points for the remaining $5.
To redeem points, ring in the order. Select the loyalty account that you've looked up and then select Redeem.
The redeemed amount will show as a negative amount on the check.
Transfer Account/Card to a New Card (Paytronix)
The account/card that is being transferred to a new card must be keyed in or swiped (not looked up). This means that the customer must know the digits of their card number or have the card present in order to transfer to a new card.
Rewards accounts can only be transferred to a card that is unactivated. Two active rewards cards can only be merged together through Paytronix.
This workflow is not used to transfer points from one account to another.
To transfer a rewards card, look up the rewards account that should be transferred to a new card and select Transfer. Swipe the new rewards card to complete the transfer.
Voiding (Paytronix)
The customer will not accrue points on any order that has been voided.
If the customer redeems an item and the order (or item) is voided, the customer will get the redeemed items back in their account.
Rewards accounts cannot be looked up or activated if Toast devices are offline.
If a customer's rewards account has been added to a check before going offline, points will be accrued when devices reestablish a connection.

Can I show a guest's Paytronix loyalty tier (e.g. Silver, Gold) on the POS next to their name?
No, at this time it is not possible to display the loyalty tier for a Paytronix customer on the POS.
