How long does it take for a guest to receive a refund?

Answer

Once a refund is issued to a guest, it can take three to five business days to complete, depending on the financial institution involved. For more information on refunds, see Issue a Refund.

Note: For Interac customers in Canada, refunds (both full and partial) must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST on the same day as the original transaction. Since Interac is a debit card network, next-day refunds are not supported. This is a limitation of the Interac card network itself, and Toast is unable to change this limitation.
