TAN gives you the option to add a seller quietly, without marketing.

Matching your client's needs with the relevant agent(s) is the essence of the TAN platform. TAN reduces the number of phone calls, emails and other channels you need to employ in order to connect with the agents who have the buyers your seller is looking for.

When you add a seller quietly, instead of an email being sent out to your TAN chapter, or the property showing on the Chapter Activity page, you only get matched one-on-one with other agents who have a matching buyer.

When you should use Quiet Sellers

This is perfect for when it's too early to pre-market (no photos yet, still testing price, gathering market info for the seller, etc.). Or for situations where a seller demands extra privacy.

Or maybe you don't have a signed listing agreement yet, but the owner has given you permission to see if you can find a buyer at a certain price.

Quiet Sellers is also great for when you're up against tough competition for a listing you want.

Bonus: When you add a property as a Quiet Seller (or broadcast it at least three days before going active on the MLS), you’ll have an added benefit. You’ll be able to broadcast updates later and communicate with top agents, even when the property is on the MLS.

Here's how to add a seller quietly:

To add your seller to TAN, go to the TAN home page and click "My Client is Selling," and then click "Add Seller Quietly."

Fill out your seller's property information on the simple form. You are required to enter an address, but only to enable accurate location matching. The street address is never shown to other agents.

In the Privacy section, select the first option to share the property and my identity.

We also have the Hide My Name option. This gives you the ability to keep your identity anonymous while still matching. The beautiful thing is that you can still have conversations with agents with matching buyers while staying anonymous. Read more about Hide My Name.

And we have a new option to hide the property completely. This allows you to gauge real buyer demand without having to share the property information with anyone. It's perfect for listing presentations or reluctant sellers. To find out more about how Hidden Quiet Sellers work, check out this helpful article for more details.

Once you click the button to add your seller, you'll instantly see agents who have buyers who currently match your seller. Plus, you'll get an email alert any time a TAN member adds a new buyer who might be a good match for your seller's property.

Buyer Demand Report

We have also added the ability to create customized, shareable Buyer Demand Reports. Once you enter a property as a Quiet Seller, you'll see a button to share only the matches you choose with the seller.

What matching buyer agents see

Here you are looking at agent Karissa Campbell's email inbox, alerting her to a potential match for her buyer Mia with agent Holly Brown's property in 20016:

In this screenshot, you are looking at agent Holly Brown's email inbox, alerting her that agent Karissa Campbell has a potential buyer match for Holly's homeowner Jamie:

The main goal is to simply start a conversation between agents. And with TAN, you are reaching quality agents across brokerages. You might not always know which agent to contact with your client's needs, but TAN matches you with the agent that you might not have thought of or know.

Lastly, don't forget to add your buyers' needs to TAN

You won't see Quiet Sellers come through your email inbox like broadcast properties. The only way to see a Quiet Seller is to have a matching buyer need on TAN. Make sure your buyers have every advantage and opportunity by adding them to TAN.
