Important Changes to Topstep Supported Platforms:
Starting July 7th, new Trading Combines will only be available on TopstepX. You can continue trading an active account on the platform that you have currently selected and will be able (if needed) to reset that account. After this date, you will no longer be able to switch platforms or purchase a new Trading Combine on any platform other than TopstepX.
Starting August 1st, the ability to reset will only be available on TopstepX. You can still trade your active existing account. However, if the account hits the Maximum Loss Limit on a platform that is not TopstepX, you will no longer be able to reset that account. If that occurs, you will be able to activate a new account on TopstepX.

Can I change my trading platform?
Starting July 7th, 2025, you can only switch trading platforms if you have passed a Trading Combine or Express Funded Account on a platform other than TopstepX, and want switch to the TopstepX platform. This request can only be approved if there has been no trading activity on the new account. Please contact the Trader Support Team before placing any trades so we can assist with the switch.

You won't lose any historical trading activity by switching between platforms that are on the same data feed.
Trading Combines that have already been Reset can only change platforms on the same data feed, and cannot change account size.
Can I change my account size?
If the Trading Combine purchase was made within the last 72 hours and there has been no trading activity, we can usually assist with switching account size. Please contact our support team, and we'll do our best to facilitate the switch.
If you have already traded on the account, we cannot accommodate a switch. We recommend canceling the original Trading Combine before your next monthly subscription charge and purchasing a new one with the desired account size.
After passing the Trading Combine, can I change to a new platform for my Express Funded Account?
You can only switch trading platforms if you have passed an Express Funded Account on a platform other than TopstepX, and want switch to the TopstepX platform. This request can only be approved if there has been no trading activity on the new account. Please contact the Trader Support Team before placing any trades so we can assist with the switch.
