Why editing an overlay?
Working on a booth can be sometimes stressing and rushing, and, as we understand that mistakes can happen, here you have a useful guide to edit an overlay that has already been added to your event.
Luckily, this is a very simple process. Here we explain to you how:
Open Touchpix designer
Hover the mouse to 'manage presets'
A menu will display, then click on 'load preset'
In this screen, choose the overlay you want to modify
Click on 'add to event' once it is edited as desired
Frequently asked questions
I have added my overlay to different functions, can I edit only one of them?
Yes. You would need to simply follow the steps above, and after clicking add to event, select the functions you want to apply them to.
I have added it, but I have videos already recorded, how can I edit them to apply the new overlay?
A good question for which we have an even better answer. It is possible to reprocess the videos on the app to apply changes on the overlays, using an integrated reprocessing tool.
I fully created my overlay externally, including text. Can I edit it using the designer?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. Designer built-in edition is possible thanks to the layers (found on a menu on the right side). These layers fully form the overlay, including text, stickers, details, decoration... If the full PNG was uploaded externally, then it is necessary to edit it externally first, then add it again.
Keynotes
Make sure to refresh the event in your Touchpix app to apply any changes done on the website.
These changes will only apply to new media. Sessions taken before the changes won't have the new overlay applied. See our reprocessing tool to edit already existing media.
