In some cases, multiple formats are played within an 18 hole round of golf. Using two-person teams, throughout the round, each team may play alt shot, scramble, and four-ball all on different stretches of 6 holes (666). Or, they may play best ball on the front 9 and both balls on the back 9. (99).
