The On-Course Leaderboard feature allows managers or scoring officials to push leaderboard statuses to officials who maintain the following using a mobile device with internet access:
Course Leaderboard,
Monster Boards, and
Thru Boards.
The on-course officials can maintain the physical leaderboard using the information pushed to their mobile devices from the On-Course Leaderboard feature (as shown below).
In this article, we will discuss setting up, managing, pushing, and receiving leaderboard results for the on-course leaderboard, monster board, and thru boards.
Enable On-Course Leaderboard Management:
If you would like to enable On-Course Leaderboards for an event/league, go to the tab Event/League > Event/League Profile > Tournament & Scoring tab, find the section "On Course Leaderboard," and check the box "Enable On Course Leaderboard" (as shown below).
You will also have the following options:
Please select a tournament for On Course Leaderboard: If you have already created multi-round tournament(s), you can also define which tournament to use to display scores in relation to par.
Please select the number of Rows for the On Course Leaderboard: This option allows you to define the number of rows, between 8 and 16, available for the Course Leaderboard.
Please select a format for the Monster Board: You typically have additional space when using a monster board. Therefore you have two options to choose to display on the monster board:
Note: You can enable this by default in the Customer Center for all new events/leagues. If you go to Customer Center > Customer Setting > Default Settings > and on the "Tournaments & Scoring" tab, you can check the box for it to always be enabled.
On-Course Leaderboard Dashboard:
After you have enabled the On-Course Leaderboard in the event profile, you can access the Dashboard by going to Round > On Course Leaderboard (as shown below).
On the Dashboard, you will have access to:
Scoring Officials: Scoring Officials have access to Shot Tracking, Double Score Verification, and the On-Course Leaderboard Dashboard for specific leagues/events they are listed as scoring officials (if enabled).
Tournament: Define the tournament to be used to communicate results.
Course Leaderboard: Course Leaderboard provides real-time data on tournament results and an interface for managing the data sent to officials on the course managing the leaderboards. The Course Leaderboard has few details than the monster board, displaying tournament-related details (e.g., Name, Hole, +/-).
Monster Board Leaderboard: Monster Board Leaderboard provides real-time tournament results and an interface for managing the data sent to officials on the course who maintain those detailed boards. The Monster Board Leaderboard is the largest board, displaying the most details (e.g., Name, Hole-by-Hole Results, Round Scores, Total Scores, etc.).
Thru Boards: Thru Boards provides real-time data on tournament results for players on specific holes and an interface for managing the data sent to officials on the course managing the thru boards. The Thru Board is the smallest, displaying current details (e.g., Name, +/-).
Each of these areas will be discussed in greater detail below.
Scoring Officials:
To add a Scoring Official, go to Round > On Course Leaderboard > Add New Scoring Official. You will be asked to provide the new officials' first, last, and email addresses (as shown below).
Scoring Officials can be reinvited or removed from the action dropdown next to their name in the scoring official's list.
Scoring Officials will only have access to the On Course Leaderboard Dashboard for a particular league/event (as shown below). On the On Course Leaderboard Dashboard page, Officials can:
Tournament:
Selecting the tournament will determine what results will be displayed and sent to the on-course official's leaderboard control page. Multi-round (Event > Multi-Round Tournaments) and single round (Round > Tournaments) tournaments will be available to set as the displayed results.
Note: All results are displayed in relation to par.
