For any team draft manager, the post-draft analysis is a crucial step in understanding the composition and potential of their newly formed team. The Team Draft Summary is a comprehensive and easily accessible recap of every pick made during a team draft.
Accessing the Draft Summary:
Immediately after completing a team draft, a "Draft Summary" button will appear on the Team Draft dashboard (as shown below). Click this button to view the summary and a detailed breakdown of the draft's progression.
Draft Summary Page:
The Draft Summary page (as shown below) presents a sortable table with each pick made throughout the draft.
By default, the picks are displayed chronologically, mirroring the order in which they occurred. However, you can sort the table by clicking the header of each column. For each pick, the following information is provided:
Pick: The number of the pick (default sorting order).
Player: The name of the player selected.
Team: The name of the team that made the pick. When sorting by team, entries will be ordered by team position and then by pick number.
Team position: the team's position in the team list (Golfers > Event Division/Flights/Teams > Manage Team Lists > Manage Teams).
Pick number: The number displayed in the Pick column.
Printing the Draft Summary:
To further enhance the utility of the Draft Summary, a "Print Summary" button is available in the left corner of the page. This enables managers to generate a spreadsheet version of the draft summary, allowing offline analysis, sharing, and archiving.
After clicking the "Print Summary" button, the manager will be redirected to a background job screen. This screen provides updates on the progress of the spreadsheet generation. Once the process is complete, a download link will be made available, allowing managers to download an XLS file of the draft summary.
