Stracka Hole Location (Pin) Sheets (Stracka Integration)

Updated over 4 months ago

This feature is available for the following products:

(Note: Most courses are available in the Stracka Database. However, if you believe a hole is missing from your pin sheet creator, or a hole says that setup is incomplete, please contact the StrackaLine support team at Support@StrackaLine.com. If your course is not in the Strackaline database, you can still create a hole location sheet. For more details, Click Here..)

Hole location sheets are often used in competitive rounds or a great way to enhance your event/league tournaments. Traditionally these printed sheets use circles and lines to indicate the location of the holes on every green.

With StrackaLine, bring your hole location sheet to the next level. With Stracka Hole Location Sheet, easily search your course and retrieve an interaction form, where you can set up and print hole locations sheets in the shape of your greens. Stracka sheets indicate (as shown below):

  • Hole Number

  • Distance the hole is from the center of the green (+/-)

  • Green Depth

  • Distance the hole is from the front of the green

  • Distance the hole is from the left or right edge of the green.

  • Greenside Bunkers (PDF Print Only)

  • Front Center Point of Green (PDF Print Only)

  • Fringe Details (PDF Print Only)

Below is an example hole location for hole #12 on a golf course. The hole is located +5 paces back of the center of the green. The green depth is 22 paces. It is also five paces off the left side of the green. Therefore you will see 16 L5, meaning it is 16 paces off the front of the green and five paces off the left side of the green.

Most yardage markers on golf courses are measured from the center of the green. If a player's ball is on the 150-yard marker on the fairway, the player will know to add five paces to the 150-yard marker for a distance of 155-yards.

Printing Stracka Hole Location Sheets:

To enter details and print Stracka Hole Location Sheets for a round, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Rounds > Report Center > Basic Reports > Stracka Hole Location Sheets > Configure.

  2. Search for the course.

  3. Enter the details for the hole locations on the course. You will have two options to enter the details:

    1. Point and Click: You can interactively enter hole location details by clicking on the edit button (grid icon) on the left-hand side. In the interactive form, point to the proper location on the green with your cursor and click. As you change the location of the point, you will see the distance from the front of the green and the left or right side of the green adjust (as shown below).

    2. Manual: You can manually enter hole location details by clicking on the edit button (pencil icon) on the left-hand side. You are provided a form to enter the distance from the front of and left or right of the green. For holes with center hole locations, enter a "0" in the Left and Right fields.

  4. To print the document, select the second button from the left-hand side (printer icon). You will be presented with two options:

    1. Print PDF: Print to PDF gives a higher level of detail with green line, fringe line, and greenside bunker details. The document will also be saved in the download section, accessible from the third button on the left-hand side (down arrow icon). Note: If opting to print to PDF, there is a processing time before the document can be downloaded.

    2. Quick Print: Immediately prints the pin sheet, with only the outline of the green (no first cut or greenside bunkers details). Further, this option does not store the print for future access.

In the event you need to edit the data and re-print, go to Rounds > Report Center > Basic Reports > Stracka Hole Location Sheets > Configure.
