In this article, we will discuss how to use the "Pairing Groups" tab when designing scorecards. For a general overview of printing scorecards along with links to articles discussing other tabs, Click Here.
Selecting a Tournament:
The most important action that needs to be taken on this tab is selecting the correct tournament to stroke and handicap the scorecards. You may have only one tournament, which makes the selection easy. However, you may have multiple tournaments in the round to select from (as shown below).

There is also a "User-Defined" option available. This option allows you to manually define the playing-handicap allowance for the scorecard. When selecting this option navigate the scorecard's Handicap Stroking tab to set the handicap percentage. We highly suggest selecting a tournament rather than selecting "User-Defined".
Mistakenly selecting "User-Defined" or selecting the wrong tournament are the most common reasons Course Handicaps are incorrect on a scorecard.
Selecting Pairing Groups:
The Pairing Groups tab also allows you to select the pairing groups for which you want to print scorecards. If you want to print scorecards for all pairing groups at once, click "Select All". Otherwise, select the specific pairing groups to print (as shown below).
β
Printing Blank Scorecards:
You can also print a blank scorecard just in case there is a last-minute change. This scorecard does not include any names, strokes, or Handicap information (as shown below).
To print blank scorecard(s), select the option at the bottom and the number of scorecards you'd like to print (as shown below).
