When creating scorecards, your tournament might require you to make some official scorecards with marker notes. When creating scorecards, we can add marker notes to individual and team events (as shown below). Further, we can add player data (player/team names and dots) and pace of play to marker notes in specific scenarios.
In this article, we will discuss adding marker notes, player data, pace of play to marker notes on scorecards, and predetermined markers (who is marking for who) on scorecards.
Adding Marker Notes to Scorecards
When creating a scorecard to add marker notes to the scorecard, on the "Format" tab the "Players or Teams" and "Number of Teams per Scorecard" has to be set to the following:
When "Players or Teams" is set to: | "Number of Players per Scorecard" has to be set to: |
Show every Player | One player per scorecard or |
Show every team | One team per scorecard |
Show both players and teams | One Team per scorecard |
After the proper setting have been made on the "Format" tab, go to the tab "Additional Info and Tee." On this tab, you can select "Add Markers' Notes" (as shown below).
Showing Player Data on Marker Notes
In some cases, you might also want to show player data, player/team name, and dots on the marker notes. To be able to show player or team names and dots, on the "Format" tab, the "Players or Teams" and "Number of Teams per Scorecard" has to be set to the following:
When "Players or Teams" is set to: | "Number of Players per Scorecard" has to be set to: |
Show every Player | Two players per scorecard |
Show every team | One team per scorecard |
Show both players and teams | One Team per scorecard |
After the proper settings have been made on the "Format" tab, go to the tab "Additional Info and Tee." On this tab, after you select "Add Markers' Notes," also check the box for "Show player data on markers notes" (as shown below).
