⏩Port Forwarding with SimHub
Updated over 3 months ago

Do you have multiple devices all wanted to share the UDP feed? 💥There is a solution!

Even though only one application can use a UDP feed at a time, it is however possible to pass (relay) this data to the next app, one after another.

SimHub (linked below) has an easy interface to set this up. Known as UDP Relay

If you can't find this handy plugin on the left menu in SimHub. Please go to Settings | Plugins and scroll to the bottom of the list

How to use SimHub

🔸Game launcher

SimHub can launch your sim of choice, please make sure that the game port matches that in SimHub. Track Titan logger requires the default game ports in order to record data.

In SimHub | Game / Telemetry config.

In Forza | Settings | Gameplay & HUD

🔸UDP Relay

If you need to send the game UDP data to a number of different applications then this is where UDP Relay is used. First you need to send the data to SimHub and then SimHub sends the data to each application in turn.

Let's set up a scenario

"I use Track Titan and have led lights on my Fantatec wheel "

Do these steps

  1. In Fanalab - enable telemetry in Fanalab and choose port 20888

  2. In SimHub - enable telemetry on port 20127 and forward to 20888

Don't forget to click Apply now

With this feature you are able to add any applications that require the UDP telemetry feed from each game. Therefore if you have a complex system with multiple items it would be advisable to plan exactly which ports you need from the game, into SimHub and then through to each application.

Here are just some of the applications that could be using your telemetry data and thus conflicting with the Track Titan application if you haven't set up any port forwarding.
