Understand the top-level shipment performance summary
The top bar gives you an at-a-glance overview of key metrics for the selected time period:
Total Shipments – Total number of shipments created or updated.
Pending Rate – The percentage of trackable shipments within the selected time range that are currently in the Pending status.
Delivery Rate – Percentage of shipments successfully delivered to customers.
Track Shipments Over Time
The Track Shipments Over Time bar chart is the centerpiece of the new analytics report. It allows you to visualize shipment trends over the last 30 days and provides an intuitive way to monitor your shipping performance.
What it shows:
Each bar represents orders created on a specific day.
The color segments indicate the percentage of shipments in each status (Delivered, Pending, Problem, etc.).
The Y-axis is fixed at 100%, allowing you to easily compare day-to-day performance.
Available views:
Delivered / Non-delivered – View which shipments have successfully reached their destinations.
Pending / Non-pending – Identify shipments still in processing or transit.
Problem / Normal – detect shipments with issues. Problem includes Exception, Failed Attempt, and Expired statuses, while Normal represents all non-problem shipments.
Why it matters
By visualizing the trends, you can quickly identify patterns, spikes, or delays. For example, a sudden increase in Pending or Problem shipments may indicate carrier delays or processing issues that require immediate attention.
Practical use:
Monitor shipment performance day by day, even during peak seasons.
Compare different status trends to spot operational bottlenecks.
Take proactive action before customers reach out about delayed shipments.
Total Shipments by Status
The Total Shipments by Status is now displayed as a stacked bar chart, giving you a clear view of the composition of shipments for each day.
What it shows:
Each bar represents total shipments for a given day.
Each segment in the bar corresponds to a shipment status (Pending, In transit.), showing number of shipments in that status.
Why it matters:
The stacked bar format allows you to see both daily shipment volume and the distribution of statuses at the same time. You can quickly identify days with unusually high problem or pending shipments.
Practical use:
Detect trends or spikes in problematic shipments across different days.
Compare performance between carriers or regions by observing status distribution.
Allocate resources efficiently for customer support and operational adjustments.
Compare shipment statuses with donut charts
This donut chart shows the breakdown of your total shipments by status, giving you a clear visual summary of how many shipments are Delivered, In Transit, Pending, or in Problem status.
Use this view to quickly assess overall shipment health and monitor progress toward your delivery goals.
