Step 1: Configure Google Tracking in Trackify X
Open Trackify X from your Shopify Admin.
Navigate to the Google section from the left menu.
Open the Conversion tracking tab.
Enter the following details:
Google Ads Conversion ID: Enter your Google Ads Conversion ID (AW-XXXXXXXXXX).
GA4 Measurement ID: Enter your Google Analytics 4 Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXXXXX).
Purchase conversion label: Enter your Google Ads Purchase conversion label, if applicable.
Enable Enhanced Conversions if you want to send hashed email and phone data with conversions for improved matching.
Click Save changes.
Note:
You can configure Google Ads conversion tracking, GA4 tracking, or both.
Google Ads Conversion ID and GA4 Measurement ID can be used independently.
The Purchase conversion label is optional.
Enhanced Conversions sends hashed (SHA-256) email and phone information with conversions for improved match rates. It is client-side and does not require Google API access.
Where to find your Google tracking IDs
Google Ads Conversion ID:
Open Google Ads.
Go to Tools → Data Manager → Google tag.
Locate your Google Ads Conversion ID.
GA4 Measurement ID:
Open Google Analytics.
Go to Admin → Data Streams.
Select your web data stream.
Copy the Measurement ID.
Purchase conversion label:
Open Google Ads.
Navigate to Conversions.
Select your Purchase conversion action.
Open Tag setup or View tag details.
Copy the Purchase conversion label.
If you use only GA4, leave the Google Ads Conversion ID and Purchase conversion label blank. If you use only Google Ads, leave the GA4 Measurement ID blank.
Step 2: Add Pixel Script (Customer Events)
This step ensures proper checkout and purchase tracking using Shopify's Customer Events.
In Trackify X settings, scroll down to the Custom Script section.
Click Copy to copy the script.
Click Go to Settings → Customer events.
In Shopify:
Go to Settings → Customer events.
Click More actions → Custom pixels.
Click Add custom pixel.
Paste the copied script.
Click Save, then Connect to grant checkout access.
Return to Trackify X and click Next.
Step 3: Enable Trackify X App Embed (Required)
Go to the Trackify X Dashboard.
Look for the banner prompting you to Enable app embed.
Click Enable app embed.
Shopify Theme Editor will open:
Go to App embeds.
Enable Trackify X.
Click Save in the top-right corner.
This step enables the Trackify X app embed on your Shopify store.
