If your promo or discount code is not applying at checkout, one of the following is the cause.
You might be experiencing this if:
A promo or discount code isn't being accepted at checkout
You're getting an error saying the code is invalid
A code you have won't apply when you try to subscribe
Common reasons a code does not apply
The code has expired
Some codes are campaign-specific and have an end date. If your code is no longer valid, it will not apply at checkout.
Your account has already used a code
Each Tradecopia account can only use one promo code over its lifetime. If a code was previously applied to your account, a new one cannot be added. Codes cannot be stacked.
The code is for new subscribers only
Standard promo codes — including the default TC code and affiliate codes — apply to new subscriber accounts only. If you are an existing subscriber or have previously held a subscription, these codes do not apply.
You are on an annual or quarterly plan
Standard promo codes apply to the first month of monthly subscriptions only. They are not eligible for annual or quarterly plans.
Returning user discounts are not applied at checkout
If you are resubscribing and looking for a returning user discount, this is handled separately — not at Stripe checkout. Contact the Tradecopia support team and we can look into what applies to your account. See returning and lapsed subscriber discounts for details.
What to do if you are eligible but the code is not applying
If your account is eligible for a discount but the code will not apply at checkout, let us know the code you want to use and we will apply it to your account manually.
Do not create a new account to access a discount you were blocked from applying on your existing account — this triggers a temporary account block.
