To manually add a new trade in TradeZella, you have two options:

  1. Visit https://app.tradezella.com/add-trade/manual to directly access the manual trade entry page.

  2. Alternatively, you can click the "Add Trade" button on the left panel and navigate to the "Manual" tab.

Once you are on the manual trade entry page, follow these steps:

  • Account: Select the account to which you want the trade execution to be applied.

  • Asset Type: Choose the type of asset

  • Symbol: Enter the symbol of the asset you are trading.

After that, click on the "Create new execution" button to add your first execution and then add the execution details

  • Execution Details: Add the execution details for the trade:

    • Date/Time: Enter the execution time and date.

    • Quantity: For stocks, enter the number of shares bought or sold. For options, enter the number of contracts bought or sold --- Use the (-) symbol for sell or short executions (e.g., -5 indicates selling 5 shares).

    • Price: Enter the price at which the trade was executed.

    • Commission: Specify any commission associated with the trade.

    • Fees: Include any additional fees incurred.

NOTE: Depending upon the assets you choose, it will ask for extra execution details such as Contract multiplier, number of contracts, expiration date, strike price, etc.

Note that if you add only one execution, the trade will be displayed as open until you add another execution to close the trade on the trade page -- Use the (-) symbol for sell or short executions (e.g., -5 indicates selling 5 shares).

After adding the executions, you click on the Save Trade button to save the trade and you will be directed to the trade page.
To add more executions for the same trade, click "ADD EXECUTION" at the bottom of the trade page, enter the necessary fields, and click "Save." This will apply the additional execution to the trade.
